When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. If you use Google OAuth, we receive your profile information from Google.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, actions performed, IP addresses, browser type, and device information.

Asset Data

The Service stores data you input about your organization's hardware assets, software licenses, inventory, procurement records, maintenance records, and related information. This data belongs to you.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive limited billing information (last 4 digits, expiration date, billing address) from Stripe for record-keeping.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Active accounts: Data retained for the duration of your subscription
• Cancelled accounts: Data retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
• Activity logs: Retained for 2 years for audit purposes
• Backups: Retained for 90 days
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by law

7. Data Security

We implement security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Role-based access control for internal staff
• Session management with inactivity timeouts
